Max Dubler is a San Francisco based urban planner, photographer, writer, videographer, designer, and downhill skateboarder.

After graduating from Sarah Lawrence College in 2009, he moved to Los Angeles and started Skate House Media, a now-defunct website that documented grassroots downhill skateboarding in Los Angeles and around the world. In 2011, he started shooting photos and writing for SkateSlate Longboarding, a downhill skateboarding magazine.

In 2022, Max earned a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning with a concentration in Community Economic Development and Housing from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Max's writing has appeared in SkateSlate Magazine, Skatehousemedia.com, Jenkem Magazine, and on Vice.com. He has photographed for a wide variety of clients both inside and outside the skateboard industry.

In addition to his writing and camera work, Max was a semi-professional rider for Madrid SkateboardsVenom Skate products, and Rogue Trucks.
